Celebrated New Year's at this hotel and loved it! The free breakfast was really good and they even offered complimentary champagne, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to downtown. We really enjoyed the ocean view from our room, it was beautiful.

The walls were a bit thin, which made it hard to sleep at times with noisy guests and people outside. The shower faucet was outdated and hard to use, definitely needs to be replaced. the experience was great and we would definitely come back!

Great stay at a Beachfront Hotel! I loved my recent city break at this hotel. I was thrilled that the hotel offered two complementary breakfasts during my stay. Also, its prime location made exploring the city a breeze! The beach was just a short stroll away, and I hopped on an affordable water taxi to take in the scenery of the harbor. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed.

Some maintenance problems The only downside to my stay was that the lights flickered a few times, but it wasn't anything major. Honestly, it was quickly forgotten in light of everything else I enjoyed. The service staff was polite, but there were some issues with the price policy that were not entirely transparent. However, this small issue did not detract from my memorable stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel we stayed at during Easter had everything we needed for a relaxing beach visit. Parking was free and easy to find, which can be a great advantage in this area. The spacious and clean room was equipped with a comfortable bed and free Wi-Fi, making it easy to get work done or stream movies. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the option to sit outside on the patio. The location was key and we had access to a variety of bars, restaurants, and shops.

While the breakfast was plentiful, it wasn't of the highest quality. We found that some of the food was low quality, and the coffee tasted quite bitter. Additionally, the hotel's business center had some issues, specifically with the password setup, which would benefit from being streamlined and more easily accessible. Nonetheless, we were able to get our tickets printed at the front desk, thanks to their helpful and friendly staff. All in all, the stay was worth the money.

The bathroom has a convenient location for the towel rack, toilet paper holder and shower handle. Also, the view from the room was amazing, with stunning water glimpses. Additionally, the hotel offers great leisure facilities, perfect for budget travel, including a spa and a pool.

The breakfast was not up to par, with limited and unappealing options.

The worst hotel experience in California.

The hotel is close to LAX without the noise from incoming and outgoing planes (10 min on pac coast hwy) We liked the large room and the large hotel parking where we could always find place even when we returned late. We will be returning to this hotel when flying through LAX at the end of this month.

The downside is the very thin walls: we could hear our neighbor snoring all night and traffic on the pac coast hwy (traffic noise was OK for us)

Value for money. Nice spacious room with a little bit outdated bathroom. Quiet(backside). Walking distance to restaurant and bar area. Nice hot (tiny) pool. Breakfast was not much, but what do you expect? Stayed with 2 friends in one room for 3 days for a little less than 400 usd.

The room was really clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was located close to the pier (walkable distance)

Short little walk down to Hermosa Beach shops/bars, close to the supermarket. Good facilities and decent breakfast. Great for only $110 or so a night for two doubles. Would stay here again for sure.

The hotel was in a good location near the ocean & shopping.

The spa is located outside in the rear side of the building, not a great place...

We booked day before, and arrived late next night after a long flight. We were greeted by very friendly front desk staff member. The jacuzzi suite was very big and clean with a nice patio area. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept on during our travels and was a very welcome bonus. Breakfast room was bright with outdoor eating area.Breakfast was self service, and was substantial continental. We requested a late check out for following evening and they were able accommodate us at a reasonable charge. All staff members were friendly and professional. Thank you

Great stuff. Easy to approach. surprisingly quiet even that it is next to major road. Quick access to major LA highways. Good value.

The first impression is not good. Breakfast dinning area is too small.

The room was big, the staff very nice, we were allowed to check in way before our check in time and it is very close to the peir.

neat, clean, spacious, close to shopping/ restaurants and although not beachside close to the beach area, the staff was excellent, they also helped with tour booking etc the continental breakfast was excellent-much more than danish and coffee.
