Staff members were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.

The staff here were very welcoming and the hotel is within easy walking distance to Hermosa Pier, making it a fantastic base for exploring the area. The beds were very comfortable which made relaxing after a long day out a breeze.

The spacious king room had a small balcony without chairs, providing nice views of the sea. Garage parking made it hassle-free during a few days of torrential rain, and the nearby Pier was just a short walk, offering a relaxing beachfront experience.

WiFi was nearly useless, which became a significant issue for my work needs. The breakfast selection was disappointingly meager—just a couple of small muffins and some orange juice, not enough to get me going. The security hardware on the doors felt shoddily installed, making them seem suspect in terms of safety. Extra towels weren't easy to come by, and several of the exercise machines were out of order. A lack of USB outlets in the room for charging was also quite inconvenient, and overall, the property felt like it could use some updates.

Hermosa Beach's culinary scene had me diving into amazing eats! Don't miss The Chicken Shack Rotisserie for finger-lickin' goodness, or La Paz for tasty Mexican flavors. Plus, the hotel’s a cozy spot, with friendly staff and a decent vibe.

But let’s keep it real—the wifi didn’t work at all, which was a bummer for my client calls. And the breakfast? Just packets of sugar, not what I hoped for.

Breakfast was the downfall. We and others in the breakfast room were searching for a hot item or two. I swear, the last place I stayed had a full spread for $50 less, and it was the talk of our morning meet-up.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay. The kids loved the spacious room with picturesque ocean views. The location was perfect as we were close to the beach and local restaurants. Chris at the front desk made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly.

My kids wished the breakfast options had more variety to keep them happy. A microwave in the breakfast area would be a great addition for families.
